Simple Fund 360 and Simple Invest 360 Product Update – February 2023

Documents: Clients can now search for words within unencrypted PDF, Word, Excel and TXT documents. Plus, all documents added to the Documents screen and/or Workpapers screen using the BGL API or the Smart Docs Email feature will now be used as part of the Smart Matching process.

Bank Data: New validations have been added for the unsupported ANZ Bank BSB numbers 012-666 and 013-901 to ensure clients can no longer create these bank feeds.

Corporate Actions: 15 ANZ Capital Notes and Debit Securities code changes have been implemented. The following mergers have also been added Corporate Actions:

• 16/12/2022 – NEA
• 12/12/2022 – PTB
• 01/12/2022 – ATL
• 29/11/2022 – CLH
• 28/11/2022 – PYG
• 22/11/2022 – TGR
• 03/01/2023 – BYI
• 12/01/2023 – WLS
• 23/01/2023 – DRM
• 24/01/2023 – PDL
• 01/03/2023 – URFPA

Contacts: The contact search function has been improved to make it easier to search contacts by name.

SuperStream: Several improvements have been made to the SuperStream Dashboard and Fund View, including:

• A faster search for contacts.
• ‘Change ESA’ capability.
• Additional columns along with ‘Expand All/Collapse All’ options.
• Email Notification Report.

PAYG Reporting: Clients can now prepare the PAYG Summary and all related forms from within the PAYG screen. PAYG Reports are now accessible via the Reports screen.

Unit Trusts: Improvements have been made to the 58300 – Contributions Tax account and Beneficiary screen to handle up to 6 decimal places in the ‘number of units’ field.

Tax Labels: Secondary tax labels ‘Related Party Loans’ for Trusts and Companies and ‘Related Party Interest’ for (Companies only) have been added.

Investment Income Generation: The Investment Income Generation screen now allows sorting by columns and the ability to dismiss small variations.

Reports: The following improvements to reports have been made:

• The APES315 footer for Appropriation Statement has been extended to ensure it is not cut off.
• Reports now include Farming Property account 72350 in the rental schedule for Trusts and Companies.
• The Minutes of Meeting of Directors, Members Minute & Declaration of Dividends Resolution reports will now display the following message where there are no dividend payments to show: ‘The directors do not recommend the payment of a dividend’.
• The Rental Property Statement and Notes to the Financials Statements for tax label “Other Rental Income” have also been improved.
