BGL announces ISO27001 certification

BGL is proud to announce that CAS 360 and Simple Fund 360 are now ISO27001 certified.

“I’m proud of the BGL Management, DevOps, IT, CAS 360, Simple Fund 360 and HR teams, which over the past few months worked tirelessly to get BGL ISO certified” says Ron Lesh, BGL’s Managing Director. “ISO 27001 is a respected and internationally recognised information security standard to outline key processes and approaches a business needs in order to securely handle data entrusted to them by third parties.”

In order to achieve this certification, BGL had its security compliance validated by an external auditor in a rigorous process where BGL had to demonstrate that it has an effective information security management system that has been properly implemented and is followed by employees. “The result is no surprise to me, but a big accomplishment for the company. Being ISO27001 certified adds to BGL commitment in offering a world’s best, compliant, technology advanced and secure solutions for our clients” highlighted Lesh.

ISO27001 is the only auditable international standard that defines the requirements of an information security management system (ISMS). ISO27001 is now a mandatory ATO requirement for digital services providers.
