Last Friday, I had the opportunity at our EOFY event to say a BIG thank you to the BGL Team.
Our Team has done an incredible job this year. With so much change in the SMSF space, both the Simple Fund 360 and Simple Fund Desktop Teams have been continually challenged. And they have responded admirably, getting software out to clients as needed and before it was needed all year. The CAS 360 and CAS Desktop Teams have also done some fantastic work as has every other Team in the organisation.
But we would not be where we are today without the continued support of our clients.
You guys are why we exist. If it wasn’t for you, we would not have a long term successful business in a very competitive and ever changing industry. Sometimes we forget we have been in this business for almost 30 years – and some of you have been our clients from our humble beginnings as a software company in 1989.
The 2017/18 financial year was a record year for BGL in many many ways. Our products have won numerous awards (with more to come I hope) and our Australian Achiever Award for Customer Service for the 11th year in a row was also a fantastic achievement by our Team.
The numbers our Team achieved this year with your help and support are outstanding and I wanted to share them with you.
For the 12 months to 30 June 2018, BGL has added 82,697 funds to Simple Fund 360. This brings the total number of funds on Simple Fund 360 to 159,767 and the number of clients using Simple Fund 360 to 4,214. We added over 1,700 clients to Simple Fund 360 this year.
At the same time, for the 12 months to 30 June 2018, BGL added 156,635 companies onto CAS 360. This brings the total number of companies on CAS 360 to an incredible 250,880 and the number of clients using CAS 360 to 1,067. We added over 550 clients to CAS 360 this year. To add over 250,000 companies in just over 16 months is an incredible achievement by our Team.
We tend, at times, to appear to forget our very loyal CAS Desktop and Simple Fund Desktop clients. Be assured we will NEVER forget you. Even with many clients moving to our cloud products, we understand many of you may not be ready to move yet. So be assured, we will continue to support you until you decide to make the move. (I would however encourage Simple Fund Desktop clients not using BGL Bank Data Feeds to consider adding this service to your Simple Fund Desktop software. This will save you heaps of time and money)
So to all our BGL clients, all of you that make up the BGL family, from all of us at BGL, a BIG THANK YOU. We would not be where we are without you.
